Even though  the weather was windy and chilly (and I was a bit under it), lots of lovely scenery involving nature and wildlife was enjoyable.This beaky boy among the tufa formations is probably going to lunch on some of the brine shrimp found abundantly in the waters of Mono lake.Evidently they thrive in the mud too. I had in mind this easy trail for them, but, nothing doing!They wanted to go across the street and climb up Rattlesnake "Mountain".  I had been up there before and knew it was do-able for the kiddies. It overlooks the airport (and many other places). It is a wooded hill on the campus of SoGang. Nice to be able to go into a little nature spot here in the big city.
