I'm Back (sort of)

Even though my inclination is to keep on pouting over the recent loss of our halmoni, my nearest and dearest has requested the blogging to continue, so, here is a picture of him talking to me via cell phone on top the previously featured neighborhood rocks. He climbed up there this afternoon and called me when he was was photo ready. I took it from the back deck. Excuse the fuzziness. I had to go 48 X magnification. Actually he had the elementary-school-aged kids of friends of ours with him. We got some hilarious pics of their antics up there too. But, no can show. Forgot to get permission from their parents to post them on the blog. Too bad too, it was a hoot.

The pictures on your site are BEAUTIFUL. Did you take them all yourself?

I'm so sorry to hear about halmoni.

I have been checking your blog regularly hoping that you would pick it up again. This was a pleasant surprise today; the pics are beautiful (as usual).

Thanks all. I'm attempting to get back into it even if less frequently.
Jen, the DH takes some of the better pics. But I try to give him the credits when snagging one of his.

Glad you're back! Parents are slipping away by droves lately it seems. By my count, nearly a dozen friends' parents have gone in the last two years. Three here in the past week and a half. I guess it's that time in our lives...

Yippy you are back, I missed you. Tell that man of yours, he looks like a teenager up there.
Its never easy to loose a parent as you and I all too well know, but somehow we keep going, just with a bit of a hole in our hearts.

I looked at the date when I said I was all blogged out for a while. Of course, we didn't realize then we'd have Halmoni with us just 5 more days. The decision to put everything on hold to be with her was correct, just that I was thinking we had more time to do that. Right now Halaboji is kind of stable (although we are trying to catch up on his health needs) so, I'm thinking I should blog up a storm while I can.
