Yeah, I know I said I was off blogging temporarily but, real quick, here some pics of our saner moments. This has been a great summer for the peaches in the backyard. Been giving them away by the sackful to whoever will take them. Problem is, it is a good year for
everyone's peaches!

I would kill for those peaches! How do you think they'd hold up in the mail? :o) Weigooksaram was just blogging about peaches and I was extolling the virtues of the imported Amish peaches I buy here in VT but yours look equally as delicious and you don't have to pay for them. Oh, the injustice!
Hey beloved. You come on out and pick some. I have never had a peach as tasty as the ones picked off the tree perfectly ripe. They taste best while still warm from the sunshine. Now we're completely spoiled and kind of don't like any other kind. Same with garden tomatoes, which we don't have, but the neighbor's have shared. Now I don't even care for the store ones.
Those look sooooo good. I wish I lived near you! I'm a peach addict.
Martha Stewart Living had some great recipes for peaches in the August issue.
Oh, drool, drool, drool.
BRING ME PEACHES!!!!
(sigh)
Awwwww nuts! We'd take as many baskets our way as you could send us, if it were at all possible. We haven't 'put up' anything this summer, what with traipsing all over creation this summer. And not to say it wasn't worth it. It's just hard to seem them mouth-watering peaches go by knowing we won't have any peach smoothies to comfort us in the Jan-Feb doldrums this year.
